- Schenker Logistics world class warehouse management system assists our customers in making decisions based on real time information, and our extensive experience with ERP systems makes us an attractive partner for mid-sized and large corporations.
- Schenker Logistics has access to more than 40 specialists in IT that support a number of warehouse management systems tailored to each individual client's specific warehousing and supply chain needs. Real time web visibility, EDI, and ERP interfacing are just some of the systems capabilities provided.
Services
- We operate high-volume contracts at
many of our sites. Some are fully automated and all operate with
the most advanced technology available. Our site in Greensboro,
dedicated to one of our manufacturing clients, picks millions of cases each month. Our picking accuracy at this plant is in excess
of 99% and productivity is the best of all warehouse facilities
outsourced by this major client in North America.
- A just-in-time environment exists at all of our plant warehouses. We understand the special demand on employees to perform in a time-sensitive operation where delays and errors can shut down a manufacturing line and where quality and safety are of utmost importance.
- Schenker Logistics has managed returns for many years at several locations. We are adept at salvaging, testing, repairing, repackaging, recycling and destruction of returned goods. We have written standard operating procedures for all reverse logistics functions performed, and our employees are trained and tested on their ability to comply with these SOPs.
